Biophos
BioPhosŪ is naturally occurring rock phosphate that is composted with liquid fish nutrients generated from wild catch fish waste, carbon sources and select naturally occurring fungi.
This fertiliser from Incitec Pivot Limited has been designed for biological or organic farming systems.
BioPhos is also effectively applied in situations where farmers may be contemplating adopting these systems in the future and where it is desirable to use a phosphorus source with low water solubility.
Available as a straight or a blend, BioPhos is ideal for clover-based pastures and suitable for soils with a reasonable fertiliser history.
